SMS API FAQ

How do I authenticate with the SMS Reflex API?

Every request is signed with 4 HTTP headers: your Client Key (X-Auth-Ck), your Auth Key (X-Auth-Ak), a timestamp in milliseconds (X-Auth-Ts) and an HMAC-SHA256 signature computed with your Auth Key (X-Auth-Signature).

Which plan includes the API?

API access is included in the 2200 Plan France plan. For higher volumes, contact us for a custom offer.

Can I send verification codes (OTP)?

Yes. The API generates a 4 to 8-digit code, sends it by SMS in French, English, Spanish or Italian, keeps it for 2 to 60 minutes and then checks the code entered by the user.

How do I get an SMS delivery status?

Query a message's status using its ID, or set up a webhook to receive delivery receipts automatically on your server.

Can I customise the SMS sender?

Yes, with an alphanumeric sender name of up to 11 characters (your brand name, for example).

Where can I find the full documentation?

The reference documentation (OpenAPI 3.0) is public at api.smsreflex.com: every endpoint is described with its parameters, responses and examples.
